Laura Kovalcik, D.O. FACOI Dr. Kovalcik was raised in Flushing, Michigan and graduated from Flushing High School. She received a degree from Mott Community College in Dental Hygiene and went on to graduate from Michigan Tech University with a BS in Science. She graduated from Michigan State University School of Osteopathic Medicine, as did her mother and sister, and completed her internship and residency at Genesys Regional Medical Center in Grand Blanc, Michigan. She worked in private practice in the Flint area prior to joining The Downing Clinic in August of 2004. Dr. Kovalcik is a board-certified internist and a Fellow in the College of Osteopathic Internists (FACOI). She is certified in many specialized treatments including bio-identical hormone treatment.
